Besnovo’s robotic and automation products have been successfully deployed for worldwide customers, including the US Air Force and leading aerospace companies.

The successful candidate will report to Besnovo’s CTO and will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary engineering team to implement systems engineering frameworks and processes as outlined in aerospace standards.

Responsibilities:
Assist CTO in implementing systems engineering frameworks and processes in product life cycle as per AS9100D standards.
Lead the development and allocation of system requirements.
Lead the development of conceptual designs, system architecture, and system interfaces.
Lead the identification and management of risks and failure modes to improve products’ safety and reliability.
Organize technical reviews to ensure product compliance to requirements at all stages.
Support the preparation of and updates to systems engineering management plans.
Support system integration, test, and acceptance.
Lead the development of verification and validation plans and support relevant verification and validation activities.
Conduct cost estimation for both customers and company management as necessary.
Produce technical documents, specifications, and procedures, including system requirements, interface, and design documents.
Monitor and resolve customer concerns as design, implementation, integration and test progress.

Qualifications:
B.Sc or M.Sc in Engineering, with 3+ years of experience in a systems engineering role.
Knowledge of the systems engineering discipline, with proven record of applying it in various stages of product development.
Experience in engineering design disciplines (e.g., reliability, maintainability, availability, security).
Experience in identifying and managing risks.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and strong written and oral communication skills in English
Self-starter working in an entrepreneurial environment, and passionate about the potential of company growth and strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly.
Experience with AS9100D or ISO9001 is a plus.
